The warranty doesn't cover stuff like that. If you are gonna purposely break it, they can tell and your warranty is void.
Probably won't be much different from now, just faster.

Intel should have the next generation of intel chips which will be manufactured using the 32nm process and this would make the current core 2 duo processors obsolete.
